Eyebrow Permanent Makeup MYTHS
❌ “They’ll look blocky or fake”
Truth: That happens from poor technique or outdated styles. Modern brow PMU is customized, soft, and natural-looking when done correctly—and it heals much lighter than day one.
❌ “It’s permanent forever”
Truth: Brow PMU fades over time (usually 1–3 years). Pigment breaks down gradually and evenly, not like old-school tattoos.
❌ “Everyone should get microblading”
Truth: Microblading is not ideal for oily, mature, or textured skin. Many bad results come from using the wrong method for the skin type. Microshading is often the better option.
❌ “It’s extremely painful”
Truth: Most clients describe it as uncomfortable but manageable. Strong topical numbing is used, and pain is typically less than expected.
❌ “The color will turn blue, red, or green”
Truth: That was common with old pigments. Modern pigments are designed to fade softly and neutrally when applied at the correct depth.
❌ “You can’t change the shape later”
Truth: Because it fades, adjustments can be made at touch-ups or future sessions. A conservative first approach is intentional.
❌ “It’s just like getting a brow tattoo”
Truth: PMU is much more superficial, uses different pigments, and is designed to fade—unlike traditional tattoos that sit deeper and stay bold.
❌ “Healing means something went wrong”
Truth: Scabbing, patchiness, and temporary lightness are normal parts of healing. Final results aren’t visible for about 4–6 weeks.

Lip Blushing Additional Information
Pain level & downtime
Pain level
Mild to moderate (most describe it as scratching or vibration)
Strong topical numbing is used the entire time
Downtime:
Day 1–2: swelling + very bright color
Day 3–7: flaking/peeling (looks patchy—this is normal)
Day 8–14: color softens and evens out
Full healed color at ~6 weeks
Most people return to normal life the same or next day.
You’re likely a great fit if you:
Have pale, uneven, or cool-toned lips
Want definition without lipstick
Want lips to look fuller without injections
Are tired of reapplying lip products
Want low-maintenance beauty
Who should wait or skip:
Active cold sores (must be clear first)
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Accutane use in last 6–12 months
Poor healing conditions (artist should screen this)
How the shade is chosen (this matters a lot)
Based on your natural lip tone, undertone, and skin tone
Healed color is 30–50% softer than day one
Neutral and warm shades age best
You should never be pressured into a trendy or overly bright color
Rule of thumb: 👉 Choose the shade you wish your lips looked naturally flushed after a good day.
